The readers of Successful Meetings magazine have awarded The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center a 2013 Pinnacle Award. The annual award recognizes hospitality excellence in conference centers, hotels & resorts and convention & visitors bureaus across the nation. This is the 14th year the resort has received this honor.
A founding member of the International Association of Conference Centers, The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center offers 60,000 square feet of event space comprised of 33 meeting rooms with natural light showcasing views of the property’s lake or forest.
“As we set out to further enhance our resort offerings with a $60 million renovation, we are delighted and honored to hear our resort has been and will continue to be a standout among top-tier conference centers,” said Greg Parson, general manager of The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center. “We are committed to offering our clients and guests a flawless meeting experience and environment.”
The reinvention of The Woodlands Resort will add 184-room guest rooms, a 1000-foot lazy river and a new steak house restaurant while updating the property’s conference center. The renovation is expected to be complete in the fall of 2014.
Successful Meetings, a monthly trade magazine for meeting professionals, will feature the Pinnacle Award winners in its August 2013 issue.
