Labor Day signals the last official weekend of s'mores, dive-in movies, awesome face painting by Muffie the Clown and endless fun around our resort pool.
All the excitement takes place August 31 - September 3 with face painting by Muffie the Clown and a professional balloon artist who twists amazing balloon creations for the kids to take home. At dusk, gather around for the always-popular build-your-own s’mores and dive-in movies. Zip down our two-story, double-helix water slides; enjoy underwater music; explore underwater murals and take part in an underwater Scavenger Hunt.
At nearby Waterway Square, enjoy two days of Labor Day festivities with classic rock favorites by Mike Maker on Saturday from 6 - 7:20 p.m. followed by Alter Ego, playing the latest alternative and classic rock hits from 7:40 - 9 p.m. On Sunday, the fun starts all over again with cover band KAOS playing music from the 80’s through today’s hottest hits from 6 - 7:20 pm. Rounding out the holiday weekend celebration is 80’s variety band The Spicolis from 7:40 - 9 p.m. A fireworks display will light up the night’s sky each evening beginning at 8:55 p.m. Insider Tip: Waterway Square offers the best viewing for fireworks.
Guests of The Woodlands Resort also enjoy 36 holes of on-site championship golf, 21 indoor and outdoor tennis courts and access to the Spa & Fitness Center, complete with nature-inspired treatments, whirlpools and a eucalyptus steam room. Rent bicycles and cruise more than 190 miles of hike-and-bike trails. Or, hop aboard our complimentary shuttle to The Woodlands Town Center for shopping, dining and entertainment.
