Yes, it's true Tom Turkey gets no love. We've jumped from candy corn and scary costumes to carols and trimming the tree. But really, who can blame us! It's the most wonderful time of the year.
Holiday festivities in The Woodlands kick off with two BIG events this month - lighting the 70-foot tall Christmas tree at Market Street and Lighting of the Doves in conjunction with iWOW.
Dressed in more than 25,000 multi-colored lights and topped with a Texas-sized star, Houston’s only performing Christmas tree will be unveiled at Market Street's’ annual “Luxury in Lights” holiday celebration Thursday, November 15 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. You can expect live music, snow machines and hundreds gathered to see the tree in action. The biggest event in The Woodlands, besides Red, Hot & Blue in July, takes place on November 17. Live music, interactive booths and games, snow play area, balloon artists, face painters, inflatables, ice carvers, amazing fireworks and more entertain families from 3 – 9 p.m. Don't miss Santa's big arrival on The Woodlands Waterway. This FREE and festive event provides attendees an opportunity to learn about countries and their unique holiday traditions. From foods and arts and crafts to music and entertainment, iWOW will add an international flavor to your holiday celebration.
