More Love for The Woodlands

Houstonia, the city’s new magazine dedicated to all things around us, just released its June issue covering the 25 Best Places To Live. And you guessed it – the number one community is The Woodlands!

Welcome to America’s hottest real estate market – the Greater Houston area. Houstonia magazine set out this month to uncover the best neighborhoods and communities in the area by polling dozens of real estate professionals for their expert opinions on the matter. And the consensus says The Woodlands.

With rising home prices, great schools and a “complete community” that keeps residents from ever having to leave, The Woodlands tops the charts for many real estate professionals. On its way to becoming an island unto itself, the master planned community really did have a master plan, states Houstonia.

And part of the island getaway is right here at The Woodlands Resort where we pamper guests and welcome families to enjoy our nature-inspired surroundings that give the impression of complete seclusion but offer many amenities within walking distance or a few miles from the resort.

Touchdown Houston!

Super things are in store for the City of Houston and surrounding communities in 2017. With the news just announced by the NFL yesterday, Houston officially is home to the Super Bowl LI. Let the planning begin!

Houston was up against Miami and San Francisco to win the bid, and there really was nothing holding Houston back from being selected. With a majority of the week-long events being held downtown, the city’s 12-acre urban park, Discovery Green, and the convention center both factored heavily in the decision making process.

The city previously played host to the Super Bowl in 2004 and won rave reviews for the city’s hospitality, organization and dedication to creating a flawless event.

From the sounds of it, city planners are more excited about the party than the game itself, but who’s really in it for the game anyway?!

Do you favor the Super Bowl game, the half time show or the pricey commercials?
